CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTS P.D. CHIEF’S RESIGNATION

Gorman City Commission accepted the resignation of Police Chief Billy Carson at a regular session held Thursday, April 21. Officer Steven Anderson was appointed interim chief and is advertising for a second officer on the TML (Texas Municipal League) website. Four responses have been received, he reported. Officer Anderson was formerly with the Eastland Police Department and is planning to move to Gorman, he said.
