Mavericks Finish 2nd In Golden Shoe Relays

The Eastland Mavericks track team traveled to Clyde this past Thursday evening to participate in the Golden Shoe Relays. The boys scored 69 points and finished second behind Cisco (247.5). Here are the results for the boys: Men 100 Meter Dash - 1 Samuel Joiner, Eastland 11.18; 3 Ryan Harris, Eastland 11.61; Men 200 Meter Dash - 11 Zach Carlton, Eastland 26.49; Men 400 Meter Dash -10 Caleb Honea, Eastland 57.56; Men 800 Meter Run - 3 Stephen Heinzman, Eastland 2:11.84; 6 Juan Ojeda, Eastland 2:15.31; Men 110 Meter Hurdles - 2 Glen Jarvis, Eastland 15.47; 7 Grandle Thompson
