There were an estimated 550 to 600 people who attended the celebration, which is reported to be greater than last year’s attendance. There were about 450 hot dogs given away, and another 50 hot dogs were sent to the local nursing home. Parade results were the best bike award to Skye McCowen, best motorized toy vehicle to Gage and Cadence Gonzales, best costume to Mark Zarate, and best 3-6 age group to Jacob and Jenson Harrower. The ice cream contest winners were Eastland Lions Club, frst place for the third straight year; second place Macy McClure and third place Lindi Dunlap.
