County Pecan Show Continues Tradition Started In 1950s

Pecan harvest has begun in Texas and the annual Eastland County Pecan Show was held Thursday, Dec. 1st at the County Courthouse. The Eastland County Pecan Show was first held in 1952 under the leadership of J.M. Cooper. Mr. Cooper went on to plant the pecan trees that surround the courthouse in 1959.
