Lady Mavs Sweep Clyde

1st District Win in 2 Years

The Lady Mavericks’ hard work and persistence paid off this past Tuesday when Eastland hosted district foe Clyde in the Marshall Gym in volleyball. Coach Skinner and the Mavs were able to get their first district win in at least 2 years with a 3 set sweep of the Lady Bulldogs. The first set needed a little overtime to finish but the Mavs pulled away for a 27-25 win. The Lady Bulldogs were only able to score 18 points in set 2 as the Lady Mavs moved to one set of the win. The victory was sealed with a 25-20 score in set 3.
