Carroll Don “Donnie” Fronterhouse

   Carroll Don “Donnie” Fronterhouse, 65, passed away Sunday, March 29,

2015, in Brownwood. 

   He was born September 23, 1949, in Hollis, Oklahoma, to Himon and Dessie Fronterhouse. Carroll married Vita Stephens on February 14, 1997.

   Carroll Don graduated from De Leon High School and then lived in various towns in Texas as his work required. Carroll Don retired as a maintenance employee from Tyson Beef Company. He loved hunting arrowheads. He also hand made hundreds of arrowheads over the years.

He enjoyed going to garage sales and spending time with his family.

   He is survived by his mother, Dessie Fronterhouse; sons, Justin Scott Fronterhouse and Michael Fronterhouse; daughters, Shanda Sanders and husband, John, and Elizabeth Hamilton; grandchildren, Zekyla

Fronterhouse, Sadie Fronterhouse, Tiffany Whiteley, Deserae Barker,

Jonathan Sanders, Dillon Stephens, Jasmine Young and Gage Stephens;great-grandchildren, Jaden Kennedy and Kyler Kennedy; brothers, Wayland Fronterhouse and wife, Penny, and Jerry Fronterhouse and wife,

Connie; sister, Sheila Fletcher; and other extended family.

   Carroll Don was preceded in death by his wife, Vita Jo Stephens Fronterhouse; father, Himon Lee Fronterhouse; and sister, Lila Moore.

   Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. in Holders Chapel Cemetery, Parker County, with Lowell Ercanbrack officiating.
