Moylan Averages 20 in Tourney

Eastland beat the Mineral Wells Lady Rams in the first game of the Santo tournament this past weekend, 50-34. Coach Huxen commented, “We played well on both ends of the court.” Scorers for that game was Mattie Moylan with 17, Kaylin Brown with 15, Rosa Ojeda with 8, Taylor Lucky & Leighann Elder both with 4 and Lea Thompson with 2. The win moved the Lady Mavs into the winners’ bracket side. Their second game pitted the Lady Mavs against Santo. Eastland was looking to revenge an earlier loss in the week to the Lady Cats and did just that, 51-49.
