The Eastland Mavericks baseball team had an outstanding season. The Mavericks started strong and finished strong. The only blemish in a district championship was a loss to the Loboes in Cisco. That loss forced a seeding game which the Mavericks won at Cisco College. The Mavs were able to move through the bi-district round and the area round of the playoffs. Many of the Mavericks garnished awards after the season had been finished.
