Former Maverick In THSBCA All-Star Game

Former Eastland Maverick pitcher Chris Howard participated in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All- Star Game this past Saturday evening in Round Rock at Dell Diamond. Howard threw 2 inning of work, giving up 1 hit and no runs. He threw against top competition from all over the state, Class A through 3A. His North team won the game 8-1. Maverick head coach Todd Hatton commented on Howard’s experience, “I was very happy for Chris and thought he did a good job against some of the state’s best players.
