Lewis rushes for 200 yards in win

Last Friday’s game between Eastland County football powerhouses Cisco and Eastland was circled on many sports fans’ calendars since the UIL realigned Texas high schools in February. The Eastland County showdown was back after a 4-year hiatus. What made the game even more anticipated was the fact that both teams were rated in the top 10 in the state. The home stands were packed…the visitors’ side was packed…there were people 4 and 5 deep along the fence line. Reports of almost 4000 people, over half of the two cities’ population combined, attended the game.
