Game Ends at the Half due to Weather
By Stephen Forester
It was a crazy night of football and weather this past Friday evening as the Cisco Loboes traveled north to take on the Nocona Indians. For the Loboes, it would be the longest trip of the year for a regular season game, at about 160 miles, give or take a mile or two depending on which route you took. The weather was a factor before the game, affecting the trips to Nocona for many Lobo fans, the band and the cheerleaders. However, for the first half, the weather was no factor in the game. That all changed as halftime began. The rain began and the winds continued to pick up speed. Lightning was all around the stadium, and eventually both coaches decided it was best to call the game. When the game was called, the Loboes had completely dominated the contest, and won 41-0.
