From TAAF To UIL Gold

Back in 2008, a young man watched “youtube” to find out how to long jump and high jump. He wanted to participate in summer track and the high school track season had already been completed. Taylor Massey did what he could to learn and eventually qualified for the State Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Summer Meet in the high jump. His personal best in the long jump would have qualified him for that event, too, but when he jumped in Abilene to qualify, he didn’t get it done.
