CPD Makes Drug Bust During Routine Traffic Stop

By Offlcer TurnerOn Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at approximate-ly 9:00 pm, Offlcer Jarrett Turner from the Cisco Po-lice Department conducted a routine trafflc stop on a vehicle on I-20 going west-bound for a trafflc viola-tion. Upon making contact with the driver, an odor of marihuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. Of-flcer Turner requested the driver to step out of the car. The driver refused to exit the vehicle for a probable cause search. After multi-ple requests, Offlcer Turner used minimal force to have the driver exit the vehicle
