The 4th Annual Cottonwood Community Benefit Shoot will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014. The Cottonwood Historical Association and The Cottonwood Volunteer Fire Control Group are “teaming” up to host the event. It will benefit both the Cottonwood Volunteer Fire Control Group and the Cottonwood Historical Association that is dedicated to the preservation of the historic community of Cottonwood by the maintenance of two cemeteries and the preservation of three historic buildings including the current operating community center/old cottonwood school house and the Callahan County 4-H Shotgun Sports as well.
