Steers’ 1st Half Too Much For Wildcats

The Robert Lee Steers visited Rising Star this past Friday evening and wasted no time in putting up 34 1st half points to win the non-district game, 48-38. The quarterback tandem of Ben Boucher and Zac Childers totaled 353 yards in the loss. Boucher was 12 of 20 for 219 yards. He threw 2 touchdowns and had 1 picked off. Childers was 9 for 17 for 134 yards and he also threw for 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
