Gorman Makes Quick Work of Dallas Lutheran

The Gorman Panthers continued their winning ways this past Friday evening by defeating the Dallas Lutheran Lions, 64-12, invoking the 45-point mercy rule at the half. Flavio Herrera threw 2 of his touchdowns in the first quarter.  His first touchdown pass was for 13 yards to Ismael Herrera with 7:15 left in the quarter to give the Panthers an 8-0 lead (Trent Padron hit the PAT.) About 15 seconds later, Padron found Sam Rainey for a 23 yard score. Padron missed the PAT, giving the Panthers a 14-0 lead. F. Herrera’s 2nd TD was for 21 yards to Danny Limon at the 3:06 mark of the quarter. Padron’s PAT made the score 22-0 in favor of the Panthers.
