EISD Selects Morton for Head Coach

James Morton was a part of the only Eastland Maverick football team to reach the highest goal in Texas High School football, the State Championship. The year was 1982. Morton then graduated a year later and has a nice resume of success stories as head coach. On Friday, January 29, 2016, the Eastland ISD board approved Morton as the new Head Football Coach and Athletic Director of Eastland High School.
