The Ranger Bulldogs have begun their basketball non-conference schedule over the past couple of weeks. Their season opener was against Paint Creek. Mitchell Needham and Bennett Motley scored 11 points each for the Bulldogs in a 46-36 loss to Paint Creek. Robby Podratz added 9 in the loss. Needham pulled down 14 boards and Podratz led the team with 15.
