Last year, the sports staff had an idea about honoring our Eastland County Today publisher, Mr. Houston Vance O’Brien. We approached the office manager about the possibility of creating an award in honor of Mr. O’Brien that would recognize a senior gentleman and senior lady from each of our Eastland County schools.
