Mavericks & Lady Mavericks Qualify to Region 1 Track

The Eastland Mavericks and Lady Mavericks who qualified for the Area Meet ran yesterday in Clyde for an opportunity to qualify for the Region 1 Meet in Abilene.

Here are the girls' qualifiers:

Jessie Jacobs is the Area champion - 200m

Mattie Moylan - 300m Hurdles & Triple Jump

the 4x100m relay & the 4x200m relays qualified

Here are the boys' qualifiers:

Glenn Jarvis is the Area champion - 110m Hurdles & 300m Hurdles

McKennon Cecil is the Area champion - Discus

Stephen Heinzman - 400m

Mitchell Moreno - 1600m & 3200m

Parker Roberts - 1600m

Brant Bailey - Shot Put

Peyton Bird - Shot Put

Braden Blackwell - Discus
