Summer Gardens Fade As Autumn Approaches

With autumn weather fast approaching, many local gardeners are reporting that their summer gardens have nearly quit producing. “We had a wonderful yield of vegetables this summer. I was able to put up some preserves, jellies and salsa, but most of our plants have now died out,” Connie Harding said. We are still seeing some tomatoes on the vines, but we have turned under the rest of plants.” she added.
