Star Pride Plans Sale Of Historic Street Signs, Beautification Efforts For Downtown Rising Star, And Membership Drive

After a short hiatus of a few cold winter months, Star Pride members have “hit the ground running” and are very busy planning projects to benefit Rising Star and area residents, as well as visitors who pass through town. The 2015 project of installing new street signs around town is winding down, with only two sections of town to finish; and the group is now selling the old, historic street signs to anyone wishing to have one for their street or even to give as a gift to someone else.
