Star Pride Continues Plans For Decorating Contests

Great Monetary PrizesStar Pride is continuing its plans for a FANTASTIC “Light Up RisingStar” theme for the businessand residential decoratingco ntests during the 2014 Christmas season.As previously announced, all businesses and citizens of Rising Star are eligible to enter by completing an entry form which can be obtained at local downtown merchants as well as StarGrocery ,City Hall and First Financial Bank and mailing to P. O. Box 306, Rising Star; or by calling 325-642-3548. Entrants are requested to finish decorating by December 14 and lights turned on and ready for judging by dark on December 15. If you are entered, you will be judged; if NOT entered, you will not be judged for the contest! Prizes are FIRST PRIZE $100; SECOND PRIZE $75; AND THIRD PRIZE $50.
