Christmas Business And Residential Lighting Contests Announced By Star Pride

In their recent October meeting, Star Pride members discussed the annual “Light Up Rising Star” contests for all businesses and residential dwellings for Rising Star, what the guidelines would be, and decided the monetary prizes for each. Although there may have been some confusion in the past about who can enter, Star Pride members discussed this thoroughly and once again decided that ALL businesses in Rising Star are eligible to light up their business building and/or windows and enter the business contest. Also, any resident of Rising Star who wishes to light up their house and/or property will also be eligible to enter the residential contest.
