We had a good group here at Seniors. We had the Rising Star Nursing Center here today. They brought the birthday gift for the month. This is our birthday week here at Seniors, and those celebrating birthdays are Lavern Lee and Susan Benson Long. Congratulations to Lavern Lee who won the birthday gift.

We had beef stew and cornbread on this cold day. We also had the Rising Star High School Homemaking class here today. They are a great group of kids learning to cook, and they are doing a great job.
