The Rising Star Volunteer Fire Department’s Fall Firefighter Fundraiser will be happening November 1st from 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Market Building on Main Street in Rising Star. Brisket tacos with all the trimmings including desserts will beserved to enjoy there or to take home. The department is currently selling raffle tickets for four guns: a Mallard Over/Under 20 gauge shotgun, a Ruger Winchester 22, a SigSauer P250 compact 9mm and a special edition pink gun that is a Bersa Thunder 380.
