The City of Rising Star, Texas, will conduct a general election on Saturday, May 10,2014, for the purpose of the election of two members of the City Council, two (2), at large, members of the City Council. Each City Council Member will serve for two-year terms. The polling place for the election will be at Higginbotham Building, 108 N. Main Street, Rising Star, Texas 76471.
