Win Sets up District Rematch for Region Final

Zach Davis rushed for 214 of the 400 rushing yards for the May Tigers as they dominated the Santa Anna Mountaineers this past Friday evening in Goldthwaite to put themselves in line for the Region 3 championship. The Region 3 title will be up for grabs this Saturday afternoon at 4:30 pm when May will face off against their district foe, the Gordon Longhorns. Gordon defeated Zephyr by 2 points on a missed PAT at the close of the game to propel the Horns to the Region final. Gordon and May will play on the campus for McMurry University in Abilene. The first quarter began with the Mountaineers taking a 6- 0 lead. May responded with a Davis 32-yard run on their first possession.
