Rising Star Family Wins Big At The Fort Worth Stock Show

Rising Star-The Geye family from Rising Star started 2015 with a series of big wins at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. On Saturday, January 24th, Abby exhibited the Grand Champion Polled Hereford heifer. The following day Emory won Reserve Grand Champion Angus heifer for the second time in his career. Emory, a senior at Rising Star High School, was also awarded a $5000 scholarship by the Texas Angus Association.
