Emory Geye scores double figures in Both Games

The opening game for the Wildcats was against the Ranger Bulldogs. Both teams got off to a slow start, with Rising Star up 3-1 after the 1st quarter. The RS defense continued to hold the Bulldogs down, allowing just 6 points in the 2nd and 4 points in the 3rd. By the end of the 3rd, the Wildcats owned a comfortable 33-11 lead. Ranger finally got on track in the 4th, but it was too late…the Wildcats took the season opener 47-24. Emory Geye paced the Wildcats with 18 points.
