Steve Gerdes Explains Ongoing, Future Eastland County Water Supply District Projects

Steve Gerdes spoke Thursday to Ranger Lions Club about ongoing and future projects at the Eastland County Water District plant on Lake Leon. Mr. Gerdes has served on the board for several years and is currently president. Gerdes said a complete micro filtration system will be in place in the near future at the plant and will replace the present sand filter system. The new system will increase the capacity of water being treated to 6 million gallons a day, he said.
