Ranger K9 Officer Found Unresponsive in Vehicle

According to Chief Larry Watson of the Ranger Police Department K9 Officer Zeke passed away after he was found inside a police vehicle unresponsive.

When asked if the K9 had been left in a hot vehicle Chief Watson said he could not make a statement at this time due to a ongoing investigation .

Texas A&M is performing an autopsy to determine the cause of the death.

The Eastland County District Attorneys office and Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.
