Large Portion of Merriman Cemetery Destroyed: Sheriff Investigating

The Ranger community is in disbelief after discovering that the Merriman Cemetery was vandalized sometime last week. Approximately 40 headstones were overturned, broken in half, smashed, or shattered entirely. The Eastland County sheriffs office responded to the scene of the crime and is currently investigating. The first report of the vandalism was reported to the Cemetery Association
Vice President by Mr. Cole whom was having a service at the cemetery on Sunday.
