Winnie Mae (Allen) Moser, 102, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Abilene, TX. at the home of her daughter. She had lived in Eastland, Texas for over 60 years prior to 2010 when she moved to Abilene. Winnie was born November 30, 1912 in Waxahachie, Texas to William Thomas Allen Sr. and Allie Ransom (Echols) Allen. She attended college at Abilene Christian College. She married Velton Travis Moser, February 22, 1935 in Abilene. She was preceded in death, by her husband of 69 years, October 12, 2004. She was a member of Daugherty Street Church of Christ in Eastland. Winnie was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family, pets and her yard. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to her four children, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Survivors are her four children: Donna Hart of Eastland, Beverly Copeland of Abilene, V.A. “ Buddy “ Moser and wife Sherra of Breckenridge, and Juli Wyatt and husband Bruce of Cisco. Eight grandchildren: Barry Hart and Kelly Armstrong of Eastland, Todd Atnip and wife Sherry of Alvaton, KY, Damon Moser and wife Dana of Breckenridge, Mark Moser and wife Jennifer of Wichita Falls, TX., Steve Armstrong of Amsterdam, Holland, Tracy Pettijohn and husband Chris of Abilene, and Dina Riggins and husband Scott of Abilene. Twelve Great Grandchildren: Brittany Adams, Brianne Spargo, Brandon Atnip, Kendyl Hodges, Katelyn Moser, Michael Moser, Shelby Moser, Makenna Moser, Holly Pettijohn, Reese Pettijohn, Rachel Pettijohn, and Rowdy Riggins. Two great great grandchildren: Sadie and LilyAdams. Three Nephews: Tommy Morris, Tom Allen III, and Steve Williams, Four Nieces: Jackie Warmsley, Patsy Carter, Wynelle Brown, and Joan Martin, and one cousin Charles Nelson of Denton, Texas. She was preceded in death by a brother: Thomas Allen and three sisters, Juanita Watson, Alberta Morris and Beverly Williams. Graveside Services were held Wednesday, 2 P.M., February 4, 2015 at Eastland Cemetery with Chris Pettijohn and Todd Atnip officiating under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home of Cisco.
