Syble Rudean (Dean) Hogan Wolfington Obituary
EASTLAND – Syble Rudean (Dean) Hogan Wolfington was born March 24, 1931 and passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015.
She was born the daughter of Omer and Ina Ghormley Hogan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Billy Hogan and Lawrence Hogan; one son, Robert Dean; her husband of 50 plus years of marriage, Jesse Robert. Syble is survived by her siblings, J.R. Hogan (Thelma); Retha Parker, Nelda Keith (Earnest); her children, Delbert Maxwell (Judy), Doris Bartley (Chris), David Wolfington (Loretta), and Walter Wolfington (Ellen); 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Syble was a Christian and a member of the Elks for years. She loved the outdoors, her job, the years she worked at Wal-Mart. She was one of the strongest women and was not afraid of anything. She loved her family.
All family and friends in Sherman gathered at North Park Baptist Church from 6-7:30 pm Tuesday, September 29, 2015 to celebrate her life. All other services were held in Eastland, TX. Family welcomed friends 6-8pm Wednesday September 30th at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland and services were 10am Thursday, October 1st at the Edwards Chapel. Burial follwed at the Long Branch Cemetery in Eastland County.
