Ruth Boner Obituary

   EASTLAND – Ruth Boner, age 78, passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2015. 

   A graveside service was  held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10:00 am at Eastland City Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday from 5:00 -7:00 pm at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland. 

   Ruth Smith was born on September 19, 1936 to Roma B. Smith and Stella (Henthorn) Smith in Spencer, West Virginia.  She married Earnest Franklin Boner, Sr. He preceded her in death in 1986. Ruth and Earnest moved from Kermit, TX to Eastland County in 1977. 

   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her three sisters and six brothers. 

  Ruth is survived by her three sons, Ronnie Bishop of Cisco, David Boner of Eastland and Earnest Boner, Jr. of Kerrville; her five daughters, Jennifer Rollins of Cisco, Julia Williams of Eastland, Valerie Williams of Eastland, Patricia “Susan” Gallegos of Eastland and Donna Law of Ranger; her brother, Billy Smith of Akron, OH; twenty four grandchildren, thirty two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous other family.

 Ruth was a great cook and mom to all. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
