Roy A. McAllister Obituary

   Cisco- Roy A. McAllister 82 of Cisco passed away September 30, 2015 in Fort Worth.

   Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 3, 2015 at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M.  Saturday at the funeral home.

Roy was born August 22, 1933 in Wichita County, Texas to SY Jack McAllister and Jessie Myrtle ( Whisnand) McAllister.  He graduated from high school and then received a Bachelor’s degree from Midwestern University in 1970. Roy was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, a former DPS Trooper and Chief Deputy Sherriff of Archer County.

Survivors are daughters: Katha Shawver and husband Curtis of Cisco, Debbie Stone of Denver CO, and Rena Marson of Denver CO. Son: Kevin McAllister and wife Elaine of Cisco. Sister: Reba Madera and husband Jim of Electra, Texas. Grandchildren: Brendan McAllister, Megan McAllister, Sean McAllister, Shae McAllister, Dillon Shawver, Elizabeth Pope and husband William, Samantha McLaughlin and husband Kevin, John Stone and Aaron Stone, and two great grandchildren.
