Memorial services for Reta Rutledge Stowe were held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Del Angel Funeral Home in Grand Prairie. She passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 in Fort Worth. Reta was born to John and Margie Rutledge May 18, 1950 in Durango, Colorado. She attended school in Ranger, Texas and graduated from nursing school in Cisco as an LVN. Her nursing career included jobs in hospitals, nursing homes and in-home health. She was an active member of Road Riders for Jesus, Chapter 59 in Grand Prairie and the Bible Believers 1st Assembly Church also in Grand Prairie. She is survived by her husband Danny of Grand Prairie; daughter, Amanda Howell of Granbury; daughter, Annette Doyle of Wichita, Kansas; mother, Margie Richards of Ranger; brothers, John Rutledge and wife Barbara and Darrell Fox and wife Trish all of Ranger; and step-brother, Billy Fox and wife Pam of Gorman. She also leaves seven grandchildren, several aunts, an uncle and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dad John, brother, Roger Rutledge, and step-brother, Tom Fox. Reta was cremated and ashes will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Texas.
