Lisa Gayle Shropshire was born March 9, 1959 in Odessa, TX.  Her family moved to Abilene in 1966 where she grew up and attended Abilene High School graduating in 1977.  She married Edward D. Watts January 6, 1979 and together raised their only daughter in a loving, peaceful home while living in several different Texas locations.  Lisa was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses May 12, 1974.  Throughout her life, she demonstrated a strong active faith by teaching her daughter and others the truth about Jehovah God and the wonderful hope as recorded in the Bible. (Psalm 37:9-11, 29, 34).  She was a modern day example of a capable wife, mother, and grandmother as described in Proverbs 31.  Lisa was a talented homemaker who enjoyed decorating, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of her family.  She had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh.  A quick wit and strong sense of humor combined with an honest, practical approach to life were a large part of her vibrant personality.  Despite suffering serious illness, she maintained a positive attitude and showed remarkable courage inspiring all who knew her.  She will be missed.

Lisa Watts loved Jehovah God and loved her family.  Her name can now be added to the list of countless others who proved their integrity to death and will be resurrected to everlasting life on a paradise earth.  May we be there to greet her when she is awakened.
