JUNE BROOKS
CISCO – June Brooks, age 86 of Cisco, passed from this life Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Abilene, TX.
A Graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday, September 17th at the Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, TX, under the direction of Chambers Funeral Home.
June was born September 10, 1928 in Hominy, OK to Thomas and Grace Ellis Cowen. June moved to the Cisco area 40+ years ago coming here from Oklahoma City. June was a homemaker who enjoyed doing puzzle books and sewing. She loved caring for animals and she loved to travel.
June is preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Vernon Cowen and three daughters: Margaret Willhite, Lynette Storm, and Junie Larkin
She is survived by one son, Aubrey Stout of Brownwood, one daughter Penny Oakley of Cross Plains, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
