Jerry Dee Whitehead Obituary

Jerry Dee Whitehead 67, of North Richland Hills, Texas joined his Heavenly Father September 5, 2015. Graveside Services will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home 9 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Saturday prior to the service.

Jerry was born December 15, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas to Sterling Glen Whitehead and Frances Emma (Coats) Whitehead. In 1966 he graduated from Cisco High School. Jerry served in Vietnam as an Army Specialist from June 1967 to June 1970. He married Shirley Gail Isbell in Honolulu, Hawaii June 5, 1969. Jerry worked as a design engineer in cable television for Charter Communications.

Survivors are his wife Shirley of North Richland Hills; Daughters: Wendy Patricia Whitehead and Tim York of Springtown, Heather Diann Scoggins and Shawn of Haltom City. Brothers: George Whitehead and wife Flo Jean of Cheyenne Oklahoma, James Bennie Whitehead and wife Ginger of Neches, Texas. Sisters: June Fletcher and husband Robert of Lubbock, Janie Smith of Plano, Ada Smith of Plano and Susie Adams and husband Sonny of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Grandchildren: Colton Jones, Payton Scoggins, Sydni Saucier, Dylan Saucier, and Payge Scoggins. Also survived by his father in law Bob Isbell several brothers and sisters in law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded by his parents, three brothers, Billy Glen, Ed, and Donald and Sisters; Jean Fletcher and Joan Ingram.
