Janice Krantz Obituary
Janice Krantz of Lake Leon, Texas passed away August 2, 2015 in her home with her family at her side. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, at 2 p.m., August 4, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Texas, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger.
Janice was a graduate of Ranger High School and Ranger College. She worked many years in the medical profession at Eastland Memorial Hospital and B&W Clinic. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ranger Texas.
In younger years, a cowgirl at heart, she had a passion for her horse “Romeo,” and barrel racing and rodeos. She loved animals and was always “taking in the strays.” She loved gardening and planting her “zinnias” and tomato plants every spring. She had a quick wit, a gentle nature and was a beautiful. loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband Jim, parents, Carl and Alma, and one brother, Jerry. She is survived by her two daughters, Jane and Judy and one son Jeff. She is also survived by five grandchildren Jason and wife Ashley, Robbie, Michael, Justin, Cameron and five great grandchildren, McKenzie, Chesnie, Kason, Jacob Lee and Kinley.
