Ima Ruth Ray Obituary

   Cisco- Ima Ruth Ray, 80, of Cisco passed from this life Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Eastland. Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cisco. Officiating Minister will be Reverend Carl Ogdie. Burial will follow in the Nimrod Cemetery directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday Evening from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.

Ruth was born January 6, 1934 in the Nimrod Community of Eastland County the daughter of Gerald Ivan and Gladys Frances (Burge) Page. She Attended school in Nimrod and later graduated from The Scranton Academy in nearby Scranton, Texas. She was a housewife and mother and also a seamstress at the Russell Newman Company in Cisco. She married Bill Wiley in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1987 Ruth married Morrell Ray in 1997 and he preceded her in September of 2006. Ruth was a member of the Cisco Civic League and active in Cisco Senior Citizens. She served her Lord as a Sunday school teacher at Calvary Baptist Church where she was a Member.

Survivors include her sons Billy Wiley and wife Gail of Midland; Donald Wiley and wife Linda of Cisco, Sisters Anita Webb and husband Wayne of Cisco and Gloria Terry and husband Terry of Martindale, Texas. Grand children are Jenifer Rucker, Christy Guadarrama and husband Ricky, Keisha Jarvis and husband Josh, Kyle Wiley and Rayme Wiley. Great Grandchildren are Allie, Kelsy, Taylor Jarvis, and Landri Guadarrama.
