Helen Marie Britschgi Heyser

   Helen Marie Britschgi Heyser was born in Eureka, Humboldt County, California on January 15, 1922, and received her

angel wings on February 3, 2017. She was 91 years young. 

   She is predeceased by her husband, J.V. Heyser, Jr., her son James Al Heyser, and her grandson, Jordon Trevor Ayer.  

   She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Heyser Malone, Sicily Heyser Reed and her husband, Paul, her son, Joe Clifford Heyser,

seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

   She and J.V. Heyser were married 59 years, before his death in 2010. They raised four children together, worked together to

build a small trucking company, raised Registered Angus Cattle, and started the Texas Junior Angus Association, an organization

devoted to providing scholarships to Texas youth. 

  After J.V.’s death, Helen stayed active in The First Baptist Church, the Cisco Country Club, and the Folklife Festival.

She worked until she was 89 years old at Austin’s Furniture, loved playing golf, 42, and adored her family. 

   There will be a memorial service at the First Baptist Church on Monday, February 27th, at 3:00 p.m. 

   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Texas Junior Angus Association.
