Grace Elizabeth Evans Obituary
Grace Elizabeth Evans,80, departed this life on May 16, 2016. Grace was a life long resident of Eastland County.
She was born on April 30,1936 and grew up on the family farm between Cisco and Eastland.
Grace attended Cisco public schools and was a member of the 1954 graduating senior class. Her professional career included working for an oil company,
accounting firm,law office,and for Eastland County Judge Scott Bailey. After these work experiences she worked for the Texas Department of Human Services for
29 years and retired in 1995.
Grace was well known for her artistic work in creating arts and crafts and especially tatting, knitting and quilting.
Grace was a Baptist by faith and was baptized at age 11 at Corinth Baptist Church where she attended for many years.
Preceding her in death was her parents Loyd and Clara(Prickett} Evans.
Survivors include her sister, Burnell Evans Graham, brother-in-law Walter Graham of Eastland County and a niece Cecilia Graham of Tucson, Arizona.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 18th at Kimbrough Funeral Home with brief visitation prior to the service.Dr. Bruce Davis of
Abilene will conduct the service. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery following the service.
The family is appreciative of the attentive and professional care provided by the staff at Homestead Nursing Center in Cisco.
