Dorothy Beatrice Brawley Obituary

Dorothy Beatrice Brawley, age 80, of Cisco passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 in Eastland, Texas. Funeral Services were held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Nimrod Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with burial at Nimrod Cemetery in Eastland County with Brother Bill Armstrong officiating. 

Dorothy was born on September 8, 1934 in Coleman, Texas to James Frank Lee and Maggie Melissa (Calhoun) Lee.  She married Joseph D. Brawley on August 12, 1955 in Cisco Texas. They celebrated 49 wonderful years before he preceded her in death on July 2, 2004.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Daniel Frank Brawley of Cisco; daughter Deanna Black of Cisco; 2 grandsons, Gregory Cole Black and Travis Flynt Black; one granddaughter, Melissa Steele Black; 2 great grandchildren; Caleb Cross and Mayson Black.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, James Frank Lee and Maggie Melissa(Calhoun) Lee; husband, Joseph D. Brawley.
