Donald Clayton Duggan Obituary
RANGER – Donald Clayton Duggan went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 22, 2016. Born November 8, 1936 in Ranger, Tx
to Robert Duggan and Myrtle (Sharp) Duggan. He was raised and attended school in Rising Star until 1953, and then later received his GED and several technical diplomas.
Donald married Louise (Wood) Duggan in 1953 and had two daughters Karen and Donna. He married Joyce (Cantrell) Duggan in 1977 and helped raise
her 5 children; Cecil, Billy, Wanda, Barbara, and Suzy. He married Vicki (Moore) Duggan in 2003with no children.
He worked for Aztec drilling company out of Midland 1953 to 1967 and ARCO sulfur mining from 1967 to 1977. He also worked for M & H drilling
for a couple of years then purchased the company and owned and operated M & H drilling. Donald was owner and operator of Clay-T-Gas Station from
1986 to 1989 and then worked for Freddy’s Garage from 1989 until retiring in 2006.
Donald was an active volunteer for the Ranger Fire Dept. and Meals on Wheels for years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; one sister,
Frances Agnew and husband Ervin of Rising Star; two brothers, Rayburn Lee Duggan of Rising Star and Larry Gale Duggan of Potosi.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki of Ranger, siblings; Gerald Duggan and wife Mary of Waco, Bobby Duggan and wife Gloria of Oklahoma, Martha Burns
and Houston Cozart of Eastland and Carbon, Jettie Butler of Abilene, Pat Shafer and husband Jim of Eastland, Garry Duggan and wife Betty of Big Sandy,
Larry’s wife Kathye of Scurry, Linda Nichols and husband Larry of Wichita Falls; children, Karen Duggan of Midland, Donna Young and husband Brian of
Walla Walla Washington; Cecil Bradshaw and wife Vickie of Fort Stockton, Billy Bradshaw and wife Lisa of College Station, Wanda Squyres of California,
Barbara Goldapp of Seymour, Suzy Sharp of Waco; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
A friend to all, mentor to many and a great man who was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Although he was ill for many years he fought
the good fight and will surely hear “well done thou good and faithful servant” enter in. Rest in Peace beloved.
A Memorial Service was held Friday, March 25th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the First United Pentecostal Church (529 N. Austin St. (Cato Hwy) Ranger, TX 76470)
