Billie Margaret French Barron Obituary
Billie Margaret French Barron, 74, of Bay City passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016.
She was born in Tyler, TX on December 28, 1941 to the late John Howard French and Sylvia Faye Hammock French. She was 8 weeks old when her mother passed away leaving her to be raised by her father and step-mother, the late Claudia French. She had worked as a bookkeeper for V & M Printing, Allison Distributing and Evans Oil Company.
She was married to Arlin “Lee” Barron. He preceded her in death in 1994. Together they raised two sons Patrick (Brenda) Barron of Bay City and Richard (LaQuita) of Carbon, TX. Other survivors include one sister Margie Vaculin of Bay City; one brother Johnny French (Janet) of Lake Jackson; grandchildren Zach, Zeth and Jacob Barron of Carbon, TX, Justin Beasley (Kelley) and Nacona Beasley of Bay City; great grandsons Austin and Coltin Beasley of Bay City and a number of nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind all of her best friends, members of the Bay City Red Hat Society.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday, January 20th at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Dr. Russ Munch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
