Billie Jo Stewart Obituary

Billie Jo Stewart, age 85 of Gorman, passed away, Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Senior Care Center in Hewitt.

Services was held at  2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Wilder officiating.  Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Billie was born September 7, 1930 in Eastland County, Texas to Aaron Buck Reed and Iris Virgie (Wright) Reed.  She married Boyce Stewart on April 14, 1956 in Jal New Mexico.  He preceded her in death on November 28, 1994. Billie was a secretary for the Texas Federal Inspection Service for twenty years.  She was a member of the Gorman Church of Christ.

She is survived  by two daughters, Marilyn Warren and husband, Jimmy of Gorman and Kellye Johnson and husband, Steve of Hewitt; granddaughter Stephanie Wedell and husband, Jon of Little Rock, AR; one great granddaughter, Ruby Lee Wedell of Little Rock, AR; sister, Shirley Warren of Princeton and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Linda Hughes and her husband, Ray Hughes.
