Betty Jean Little Obituary

Betty Jean Little, age 84, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at her home in Eastland County.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with James Hunter and Marion Fonville officiating.  Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery.

Betty was born August 4, 1930 in Eastland County to  George Franklin Bennett and Onnie Cora (McGlothin) Bennett.  She graduated from Gorman High School.  She married Roice Earl Little on August 26, 1950 in Carbon, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2003.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Kokomo Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Doug Little and wife, Carole of Gorman and one daughter, Karen Patterson of Eastland; four grandchildren, Sandy Mullen and husband, Toby of Peacock, TX, Clay Patterson of Seymour, David Little of Gorman and Joseph Little and wife, Ashley of Duncan, OK; four great grandchildren, Laura Mullen, Rebekah Mullen, Will Patterson and Roice Little; extended family, Jimmy Little of Gorman, Charles and Carolyn Little of Eastland and Mary Jane Little of Tyler and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Elbert Bennett and Vernon Bennett.
